"Look Emily, there is an airplane up in the sky"

I have had a long standing relationship with this family.  Emily, has been my toughest critic and greatest "assistant" over the years.  Now that she has a little brother, her attention is diverted to his safety and well being.

During this session, it was precious to see him showing her the airplane flying over (even more charming, given that their father is a pilot).  I was blessed to see Emily just being herself; entertained by her brother's world. I'm sure she would have had OTHER plans on where we should have stood or who sat next to who, but you know sometimes its nice to catch her just being the delightful engaging child she is, and not on the "job".

By the way, it was HER idea to lean into her mom like that! (did I mention she's an excellent assistant)

See what happened because two people in love?

Its a simple story, two people destined to be together fall in love and live happily ever after.  Well I felt nothing more than blessed when I was approached to photograph the "fruits" of their "labors".

For me it was the biggest session I have ever photographed. Eighteen people is a daunting task for any photographer; however, they have never met THIS family.  It was nothing short of effortless!

Every member of this family was linked and in scynch.  It was quite a thing to witness. Even the children (all eight of them) were well mannered/behaved and a joy to capture.
