Blurry Vision

On a recent camping trip, my mother in law cleverly made use of the dozens of flowers my girls picked. She wove them into necklaces and rings.

I know that is a memory that will stick with them for a long time (at least it will with me). So I decided to capture it in a non traditional way.

I wanted the focus to be on the treasure (and for once, it wasn't my little girls). This is the kind of heirloom that cannot be past down.

So I figured, why do conventional portraits. Who said you should NEVER have a portrait with a blurry face....NEVER say NEVER. Sometimes a blurry vision is the most clear.

Through the eyes of Love

Who doesn't love a baby this sweet!!!

This is Ella Grace, a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl. She was born with extraordinary genes...we are talking if Mercedes made babies here.

Ella's mother is beautiful, smart, and surprisingly down to earth. If Ella gets 1/2 of that, she will have a blessed life.

She takes after her mother who could definitely be a model. She was patient and endearing in spite of all the commotion just to get her picture (the flashes, the wardrobe changes, the positions).

At the end of the session Ella's mother and I were able to talk babies and how her life has changed. While Ella looked around our humble studio space. She definitely broke all the stereotypes of working with little babies.

I hope to be able to record the transitions of Miss Ella Grace in her life through the eyes of love.
